This app gives you live, real time updates on scores as well as commentary and ‘match chat’ on the go. You can view the five major sports by category: rugby, football, cricket, golf and tennis. Select a category to view what’s happening both in South Africa and internationally. Share the latest sports news on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Delicious as well as hundreds (yes, really that many) of other services.

There are no customizable features. I think the ability to set a reminder for upcoming matches would be nice, as well as a section that includes other sports. I liked the crisp, clean feel to this app as well as the good graphics. The articles are informative and you’re a fan of one of the sports mentioned above then it would be a good idea to have this useful app on your iPad.

However, I wouldn’t pay for this app as its main function seems to be that it takes you to the supersport.com website and lets you view the page in the app. I would recommend this to avid sports fans, as it’s great to have all the info about your favourite sport available at the touch of a button!
