Sneak peek at Samsung Galaxy Note II
It’s getting closer and closer to the Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin, where we’ll finally see the Samsung’s Galaxy Note II. They’ve given us a teaser to wet our appetites.
The Mobile Unpacked event is set to take place on 29 August, where it was announced recently that Samsung will release its tablet/smartphone hybrid. The tech world has been thrilled with this news, especially as the release is set just before Apple’s new iPhone is expected to be revealed. The heat is on between the technology giants when it comes to the hottest devices for 2012.
Which is why we are thrilled that less than ten days before the event, Samsung has released a teaser video that gives anyone who is a curious a little taste of what is to come. The video doesn’t give too much away – unfortunately you’ll have to wait until 29 August for exact specifications of the new Galaxy Note – but it is an exciting bite of what is sure to be an amazing event. In the video, you’ll note that the director Wim Wenders talks about a device that is small and light. We’re certain this is just a little hint that the Galaxy Note II is going to be smaller and lighter than the first one. The current Galaxy Note features a 5.3-inch screen and Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
In any case, we are loving the video for its hook. It features comments like, “When magical moments come alive, everything becomes an inspiration. All the things you can do with the blink of an eye, with such a small light thing. Anybody can do it. Be creative.”
Which is why we are certain that the Mobile Unpacked event is going to be an amazing end to August. The IFA in Berlin is a trade show of consumer electronics and home appliances, with this one set to be one of the most exciting shows yet.
