Motivational apps for your Android
You’ll give of your best every single day with these motivational apps from Android.
Last week Two Fruits One Robot looked at ways to become inspired with your Android smart phone or tablet, whether its getting the creative juices flowing or a bit of inner peace with some meditation. However sometimes you just need a bit of a kick to remember why you love getting out of bed every morning.
One of the first apps that will help you to keep trying to do your best every day and stay motivated is Success Log, developed by Amimetic. This free app helps you to track your success, whether its in exercise, work, training or another goal that you are trying achieve. A very easy app to use, it also works very quickly. Log all of your successes and then run through it every now and then to see how well you are doing. You won’t want to give up your diet or stop your marathon training because you’ll be so impressed at how well you are doing.
Another motivating tool is to create lists, so that similarly to Success Log, you can track your progress and tick off tasks as you get them done. There are dozens of to-do-list apps on the Android market, assisting you in keeping track of what you have to accomplish on a daily basis. This also keeps you focused, achieving small tasks continuously. GTasks: To Do List | Task List is a great example, working with your Gmail to synchronize all of your daily task. You’ll never miss an appointment with an app like this and you’ll always be ahead of the piles of things that you have to get done.
An app which combines all of the concepts above is Don’t Break the Chain, which is one of my personal favourites. As you complete tasks or stick to your healthy diet on your calendar, a chain will be created, marking each day in green. The challenge is not to break the chain so that you continue to strive to do your best every single day.
A colourful and motivating app, designed to get you excited about just about anything that you are working on is Rain
bow Idea, developed by naka taku gon. The app simply colours in your ideas, or shows your ideas as colours. I guarantee that you’ll be so inspired by the array of colours, you’ll want to keep adding and editing your ideas.
If colours aren’t your thing and you’re more like me who works in words, then you’ll also love Business Motivation Quotes. This app will help you remember why you are working hard, what the goal is at the end of the day and provide you with a bit of uplifting and motivational words. I love that it is centered around work, so you’ll always feel like the words apply to you.
You may also just need a more logical way of arranging your thoughts so that you come up with brilliant ideas more efficiently. Mindjet for Android is an app that will assist you in keeping all of your ideas neat and orderly. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you’ll make amazing connections and come up with new ideas with this app.
With your Android smart phone or tablet by your side, you’ll never feel like you’re unmotivated. Whether it’s for work, diet, exercise or life in general, Google Play offers tons of apps to help you to be the best that you can be every day.
