Feast of games on Android

There is such a wide variety of games available on Android, you’ll be spoiled for choice.

The most fantastic thing about Google Play and the amount of games available for your Android smart phone and tablet is that there are also many different kinds of games to choose from. You have no reason to ever be bored with an Android in your hand.

Tower defense games are some of my favourite. These are games characterized by having to defend something like a planet, tower or castle. There are tons of games like this on the Android market, designed to test your survival skills and how quickly you can ward off enemies. One of the latest ones on the Android market at the moment is Strikefleet Omega – an intense game where you have to defend the universe from destruction by the evil Hive Queen. Fight off her evil brood and save the planet as the last remaining strikefleet defender. This app is loads of fun and has recently been updated, even if it does have a few sneaky costs involved as you progress.

Some of the other amazingly entertaining games on the Android market include sporting games, which work to replicate real-life sporting games. One of my favourite ones is Big Win Soccer where you create your very own legendary soccer team, customizing the team name and every single player from their hairstyle to their skin colour. If you’re a sports fan, these games go a long way in keeping you busy for hours as you get competitive and keep trying to better your scores. These sports apps require a whole different set of skills, a lot of patience and some strategy as you replicate the real sporting world.

Another world of sport in terms of games are racing apps. These apps are designed to get your adrenaline pumping as you race against time and try not to fall off or crash your particular vehicle. Trail Xtreme Winter 2 is one of the most thrilling games in this category at the moment as you take biking to a whole new level, racing against the clock and try to avoid obstacles and navigate slopes. With 30 levels, you won’t be able to put this app down until you’ve unlocked all of them.

Puzzle games are by far the most entertaining for me however, as I become addicted trying to solve the next puzzle. Which is why Empress of the Deep 2 is one of the most played games on my Android smart phone at the moment. This app is designed to keep you hooked in a fantasy adventure world as you uncover clues to save the Children of the Light and defeat the evil Pandora. You’ll have to search for objects, repair hot air balloons, heal magical creatures and travel to the temple in the sky.

The greatest thing about these top gaming apps on Android is that you don’t have to dish out a lot of cash to get them on your smartphone or tablet. Many of them are a very low price, if not completely free. You may have to watch out for hidden costs, but all in all there is a wide variety available for a very low price.
