Become inspired with your Android

Winter doesn’t do much to get the inspiration flowing, in fact it’s pretty difficult to even get out of bed.

Which is why you can always count on your Android to uplift you and get you motivated for the day with some fantastic and inspiring apps available for download from Google Play.

If you’re like me and it’s motivational quotes that get you inspired, then you’ll love 505 Motivational Quotes. It’s as simple as it sounds and while the interface could do with a bit of inspiration, it includes some wonderful and uplifting quotes – 505 to be precise. A free app from developers SusaSoftX, it serves its function and serves it well and will always bring a smile to your face.

There are tons of other inspirational quote apps on the Android market including Inspirational Quotes, by AppFlute. The interface on this free app is just as beautiful as the words with beautiful graphics and quirky quotes like, “If a man does what is required of him, he is a slave. If a man does more than is required of him, he is a free man.” The great thing about this app is that you can share the quotes online as well as customize the settings to your own, unique preferences.

If you’ve watched The Bucket List film, then you know that there is nothing more motivational than creating a list of things to do before you die. They have to be realistic, but still inspire some ambition in you and require a bit of effort on your part. Which is why My Bucket List is one of my favourite apps on the Android market. There are other variations on the market so you can choose one that appeals to you, but basically the apps helps you to manage and save a list of things that you want to do in your lifetime. It is a simple-to-use app that simply allows you to add new goals and save them, so that you always have that list available on your Android smart phone or tablet.

Besides these simply apps, there are also some more in-depth motivational tools on the Android market like Total Confidence & Success. This app, developed by Hypnotherapist Direct Ltd is a Self Help designed to help the user gain a sense of worth along with other personal tools like mental organization. It costs R37.98 to download, but is worth looking into if you’re someone who enjoys reading material like Self Help books.

Similar to these are meditation apps available on the Android market, helping the user to gain inner peace which will ultimately inspire them to lead more positive and motivated lives. Build confidence, for example, provides the user with affirmations that they can listen to while they sleep, building their self-confidence through their subconscious.

If you’re looking for practical forms of inspiration that inspire your imagination and creativity, Idea Generator is another favourite of mine on the Android market. It assists the user in bouncing ideas around and combing random words to spark new thoughts and ideas. This is great for people in the creative industry especially.

If you explore Google Play, you’ll find tons of other inspirational and motivational apps at your fingertips, designed to help you beat these cold, winter mornings and start your day with a positive and productive attitude.
