With AmaLotto, you can get the latest results on your Apple device. This app uses bright colours and animations to give you an authentic lotto feel. If you’re looking for numbers to use in the next draw, use the ‘Quick Pick’ section. With Quick Pick, you shake you device to give you six random numbers.

Do you have a special set of numbers? Store three sets of your lucky draw numbers in the ‘Favourites’ section of the app for easy reference. In the ‘More’ section, you’ll find information on how to play the South African Lotto, the rules of the game and an interesting FAQ section where you’ll find answers to questions about how the Lotto works.

There are no customisable features apart from being able to store your favourite numbers, but I don’t find that this hinders the app in any way. If I had to pay for this app, I wouldn’t, as lotto results are freely available in a variety of places. Seeing as this app is free I’d be happy to use it because of its clean feel and good colours.

Overall, this is a nice app. It has good graphics which make it more than just a list of numbers. It’s straightforward and to the point, with no advertising or unnecessary features. The lotto numbers are updated quickly and are accurate. I would recommend this app to anyone who plays the Lotto as it’s free, easy to use and takes up minimal space.
